Program Mission

The program seeks to meet the needs of the financial and business sectors by preparing graduates with distinguished knowledge and advanced skills in Computer Information Systems, while fostering a high level of creativity and innovation, enabling them to become leaders in the field of information systems and distinguished researchers.

Admission and Registration Requirements

To be admitted into the master's programs in the Department of Computer Information Systems, the applicant must hold:

1. A bachelor's degree with at least a "Good" grade in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Science (Mathematics/Computer Science), with completion of remedial courses if required.

2. Or a Higher Diploma in Computer Information Systems from the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial and Banking Sciences with a minimum average of 75%, provided that the applicant's bachelor's degree grade was not "Pass."

3. A commitment to abide by the Academy's rules, regulations, and policies in force throughout the period of study.

Study Plan

1. The Master's program consists of 30 credit hours, accompanied by intensive research work, as well as participation in specialized workshops, training courses, and academic seminars.

2. After successfully completing the coursework with a cumulative GPA of no less than 75%, the student is eligible to register for the Master's thesis, which the Academy considers a core requirement for graduation under the thesis track.

3. The student is required to publish one scholarly work in a peer-reviewed academic journal within the field of specialization during the period of study.
