Consulting Services

The Academy provides consulting services to its clients through a structured process consisting of four main stages:

1. Conducting a preliminary assessment of the requesting institution or bank and preparing an initial evaluation report.

2. Signing a consultancy agreement with the client, defining the scope of work, implementation schedule, required expertise, and establishing a joint support team nominated by the client to collaborate with the consultants and receive practical training throughout the assignment.

3. Implementing the consultancy project in accordance with the agreed contract.

4. Supervising the implementation process and providing training as agreed with the client organization.

Areas of Consulting Services

The Academy offers consulting services in the following areas:

• Development of corporate and functional strategies.

• Marketing research and feasibility studies (technical, economic, marketing, and financial).

• Development and modernization of banking, financial, economic, and administrative operations.

• Technology transfer, adaptation, and localization.

• Development of accounting and financial systems.

• Human resource development and training.

• Organizational restructuring and reorganization of banks, institutions, companies, and public-sector entities, including privatization and transformation to Islamic banking.

• Performance monitoring and evaluation, including the development of performance standards, key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting indicators, comprehensive performance measures, and internal control systems.

Consulting Projects

The Academy has implemented numerous consulting projects across the Arab region, including:

• Computerization of the Popular Credit Bank – Syrian Arab Republic.

• Modernization and development of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank – Republic of Yemen.

• Computerization of the Industrial Bank – Syrian Arab Republic.

• Data migration project for the Industrial Bank – Syrian Arab Republic.

• Transformation of the National Commercial Bank (Jeddah) into an Islamic bank.

• Restructuring of the Iraqi banking sector in cooperation with Deloitte.

In addition, the Academy has participated in restructuring the following institutions:
