In the presence of Prof. Dr. Khaled Omar Basaleem – Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Educational Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled Qaid Shaffal – Director General of Private Institutions at the Ministry, and Prof. Dr. Adnan Al-Saqqaf – Director General of Public Institutions at the Ministry, and as part of the Academy’s efforts and orientation to offer specialized programs in Administrative, Financial, and Banking Sciences, the Yemen Branch of the Arab Academy in Aden organized a workshop to review and approve the specification documents of several specialized bachelor’s programs and disciplines.

At the opening of the workshop, Dean of the Academy, Prof. Dr. Abdulqader Mohammed Al-Abbadi, delivered a welcoming speech to the attendees, speaking about the Academy’s direction toward providing quality education aligned with the requirements of the digital age. As a specialized institution in administrative, financial, and banking sciences, the Academy has developed these programs in accordance with the requirements of the local and regional labor market and in line with the latest developments in digitalization and business technology.

For his part, Dr. Khaled Basaleem, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Educational Affairs, expressed his satisfaction with the workshop, emphasizing the importance of the modern programs developed by the Academy, benefiting from its long-standing experience in the field.

Dr. Khaled Shaffal, Director General of Private Institutions at the Ministry, also expressed his admiration for the proposed program specifications and specialized curricula, wishing that they would contribute to serving society and meeting market needs.

A group of academic specialists also participated in the workshop, along with representatives of companies, banks, and civil society institutions and the labor market. This reflects the Academy’s commitment to building quality programs that meet local and regional labor market demands. The workshop discussed program missions and objectives, as well as intended learning outcomes and study plans. The discussion was enriched through specialized group sessions and open discussions, allowing participants to share their expertise and contribute to enhancing program documents and curricula in line with modern labor market requirements, thereby strengthening partnership and cooperation with companies and institutions across various sectors.
