Prof. Dr. Murad Mohammed Al-Nashmi, Director of the Yemen Branch of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS), met with Mr. Sami Saleh Al-Burti, Chairman of the General Authority for Post and Postal Savings, on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Authority’s headquarters in Aden to discuss opportunities for mutual cooperation. The meeting was held as part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the capabilities of its workforce and enhance their professional competencies.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Al-Nashmi welcomed the Chairman of the Authority and reaffirmed the Academy’s readiness to provide high-quality academic and professional training programs tailored to the needs of the Authority’s personnel. He emphasized that these programs would support the Authority’s development plans and contribute to achieving its strategic objectives.

For his part, Mr. Al-Burti expressed his appreciation for the Academy’s distinguished academic and training programs, which are designed to meet the needs of public institutions, government agencies, companies, and banks. He also highlighted the Authority’s interest in benefiting from the Academy’s expertise across a wide range of administrative, financial, and technical fields, stressing that investing in human capital development is a strategic priority for enhancing the quality and efficiency of postal and financial services and expanding their reach to better serve the community.

The meeting also addressed future coordination mechanisms between the two institutions, including preparations for signing a cooperation agreement aimed at establishing a sustainable partnership, strengthening institutional collaboration, and supporting the professional development of employees and service providers in line with their shared strategic goals.
