Vice President of the Arab Academy Visits the Yemen Branch and Commends Its Outstanding Institutional Performance

As part of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences’ (AAMBFS) commitment to strengthening institutional collaboration among its branches across the Arab world, Dr. Osama Abu Sharar, Vice President of the Arab Academy, paid an official visit to the Academy’s Yemen Branch. He was welcomed by the branch leadership, headed by Prof. Dr. Murad Mohammed Al-Nashmi, Director of the Yemen Branch, along with members of the academic and administrative staff.

Dr. Abu Sharar began his visit with a tour of the Academy’s facilities, where he visited classrooms, laboratories, and administrative offices. During the tour, he received a comprehensive briefing on the educational and training activities offered by the branch, as well as the growing enrollment in the Academy’s academic programs.

During the meeting, Dr. Abu Sharar commended the Yemen Branch for its dedication and remarkable efforts in upholding academic quality standards and continuously enhancing the educational services provided to students. He emphasized that the Arab Academy places great importance on supporting its branches throughout the Arab region, particularly in Yemen, recognizing the country's promising youth and their strong commitment to academic and professional development.

The Vice President also discussed with the branch’s leadership future plans to expand academic and training programs, introduce new specializations aligned with the evolving needs of local and regional labor markets, strengthen partnerships with universities and academic and professional institutions in Yemen, and further promote scientific research and student-led initiatives.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Murad Mohammed Al-Nashmi expressed his sincere appreciation for the Academy’s continued support and interest in the Yemen Branch. He noted that the visit represents a significant motivation to continue the branch’s journey of institutional development and continuous improvement. He also affirmed the branch’s commitment to implementing the recommendations resulting from the visit, including advancing academic and research activities and strengthening engagement with the local community and the business sector.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Abu Sharar met with a number of students, listening to their perspectives and suggestions regarding the educational process and the services provided by the Academy. He praised their ambition, commitment, and sense of belonging, emphasizing that students remain the central focus and primary purpose of the Academy’s educational mission.

This visit reflects the Arab Academy’s vision of promoting a culture of excellence and quality in higher education and professional training while reinforcing its role as a leading Arab institution dedicated to preparing future leaders in management, finance, and banking who can contribute effectively to sustainable development across the Arab world.
