Arab Academy – Aden Concludes Specialized Training Courses in Internal Auditing and Risk Management

The Training Institute of the Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences – Aden Branch concluded two specialized training courses in internal auditing and risk-based audit planning, as part of its training programs aimed at developing professional competencies in the financial and banking sectors.

The first course, titled “Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Qualification Program – Part One,” focused on equipping participants with fundamental knowledge of internal auditing in accordance with international standards. The second course, titled “Preparing and Implementing a Risk-Based Audit Plan,” aimed to strengthen participants’ capabilities in designing and implementing effective audit plans based on risk analysis.

Both courses were delivered by Dr. Tahseen Mahmoud Salah, a financial and banking expert from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He presented the latest professional approaches and practical applications in internal auditing and risk management, contributing to enhancing participants’ practical skills and linking theoretical knowledge to real-world practices.

At the conclusion of the two courses, Prof. Dr. Murad Mohammed Al-Nashmi, Director of the Academy Branch, affirmed the Academy’s commitment to providing high-quality, specialized training programs that keep pace with international standards and recent developments in auditing and risk management. He noted that such programs contribute to enhancing the efficiency of professionals working in financial and banking institutions and various other sectors.

The participants expressed their appreciation for the high-quality academic content and modern training methods delivered through the two courses, emphasizing the importance of such programs in developing their professional performance and improving the quality of auditing and risk management practices within their institutions.

At the closing ceremony, attended by Mr. Ahmed Maqbool, Director of the Training Institute, certificates were presented to the participants, followed by commemorative photographs.

The two courses are part of a series of training programs implemented by the Academy’s Training Institute to facilitate knowledge transfer and develop professional capabilities in line with labor market requirements and enhance performance quality.
